The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra will hold The 2nd International Symposium for Chinese Music Conducting online from 14-15 May, co-organising with the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and the Centre for Chinese Music Studies, CUHK.

The Symposium consists of five sessions:

1. Prerequisites for Chinese Music Conductors,Elements and Cross-disciplinary 

2. Terms for Chinese Music Conductors,

3. Composition Techniques and Trends: The Performance Practice of Chinese Instruments, and Mastery of Orchestration, 

4. Education and Training for Today's Chinese Music Conductors, and

5. After the Conducting Competition - Sharing by Young Conductors.
