Yuan Fang

Famous young pianist, Yuan Fang, holds a double-major doctoral degree from Germany. Her regular lecture recital at the National Centre for the Performing Arts, Beijing, On Classical Piano Music, has drawn considerable attention and been chosen to be a web-cast programme since 2011. As a Boesendorfer artist, Yuan has made records of piano music under the Sony Classic label. She topped the chart, Classical Music Top 100, in China in 2015.

Yuan has performed under the baton of leading conductors Zubin Mehta, Lawrence Foster and many others, and with famous orchestras in China and on the international front, such as the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Stuttgart Philharmonic Orchestra, Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, China National Symphony Orchestra, and the NCPA Orchestra. Her solo recitals were heard in the New York Carnegie Hall and the Hong Kong City Hall. Her recording with the BBC Symphony Orchestra was broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
