Capering Notes - Professional Internship Program

Date and Time:  From now to 21-July-2014


Our Capering Notes - Professional Internship Programme is part of the Contestable Funding Pilot Scheme for the Major Performing Arts Groups organised by the Home Affairs Bureau.  Our aim is to promote the sustainable development of Chinese music in Hong Kong by grooming local young talents in Chinese music through the guidance of the Orchestra’s expert artists and administrative support from its arts administration professionals, and providing a venue for their concert performance, whether as a soloist or an ensemble.


Who can apply:

  1. Any individual holding the Hong Kong ID Card or group registered in Hong Kong, and
  2. Those who have performing experience in Chinese music

How to apply:

Please send the following personal details (as listed below) by mail to: The Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra Limited, 7/F, Sheung Wan Municipal Services Building, 345 Queen's Road Central, Hong Kong, not later than 21st July, 2014. Please mark on your envelope “Capering Notes - Professional Internship Programme”.

  1. Application Form duly filled in (Please download from our web site www.hkco.org)
  2. A photo copy of your Hong Kong ID Card (or passport) and/or of your group’s Certificate of Registration
  3. Your resume or group profile (Please type on A4 sized paper)
  4. 1 -2 DVD copies of video clips showing you (as individual or group) in performance, if available. (The performance should be given by the applicant in the past two years.  The performance format may be as solo, ensemble or orchestra.

Deadline for application: 21st July, 2014 (Postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the application date)
